Seth Ayyaz is co-founder and Music Director at Zenith Foundation. He is the creative lead and producer for the MazaJ projects. Seth is a PhD candidate in composition at City University London, specializing in acousmatic and live electronics improvisation with an expertise in contemporary sonic practices in the Middle East, North Africa and their Diaspora. Through his work, he has developed an extensive network of contacts with sonic practitioners, avant-garde sound and music experts and academics. This has evolved through his academic work, personal sonic practices, and running the MazaJ music events since 2005 at various venues in London. These well attended events focused on presenting innovative, contemporary and exploratory approaches to sound/music relating to the region to a diverse UK audience and were well received.

Mona Deeley is founding director of Zenith Foundation with responsibility for visual arts and online projects. She has led the development of Zenith Shop Online.Com, Zenith Image Library.Com, and the online magazine at Zenithfoundation.com. She is the principal programmer and producer of the 4 editions of the London Arab Film Festival and other film events. She headed the research and development of the Arab Cities contemporary art project, and the earlier symposium at the Barbican on modern and contemporary art from the Arab region. In parallel with her work at Zenith, Mona has worked at BBC Worldwide and the BBC since 2000 in a senior legal and business affairs capacity.

Lisa Skuret is a writer and artist. She studied Contemporary Art Theory at Goldsmiths College London (AHRC Research Award 2007-08), Interaction Design at University of the Arts London, and Psychology at Smith College (USA) and University College London. Currently, she is working with Vision Forum (Linköpings University, Sweden) on a two year funded research project in London. Lisa contributes writing to international visual culture magazines and also works with text as part of her art practice. Recent exhibitions and live events have taken place at Spike Island, Bristol; Parasol Unit, London; David Roberts Art Foundation, London; and MoMA PS1 in New York.

Ghalya Saadawi is a writer and editor. She has worked as a consultant and researcher for a number of international NGO’s and has taught at the American University of Beirut and the Lebanese American University. She is co-editor of the book Untitled Tracks: On Alternative Music in Beirut (2010) and has contributed to Bidoun, Canvas, Frieze, the online art magazine Nowiswere, among other publications. Ghalya is a PhD candidate at Goldsmiths College in London where she is researching the politics and possibilities of witnessing, testimony and fiction in contemporary artistic production in Lebanon and beyond. She lives between Beirut and London.
